About Us
Lula & Flora’s Homestyle Kitchen Rental & Bakerysm
Lula & Flora’s Homestyle Kitchen Rental & Bakery was founded to honor and acknowledge six influential women who were part of the important history of Wichita Falls, Texas. Lula Kell and Flora Kemp were the spouses of the founding fathers of the city. Because the Kells and the Kemps played an integral role in the origins of the city, each of the six kitchens at Lula & Flora’s Kitchen Rental is named after them.
Specifically, Lula Kell and her three daughters, Willie May Kell, Sadie Kell, and Mary Joe Kell, each have named kitchens. Next, Flora Kemp and her daughter, Emma (Sibyl) Kemp, also have named kitchens. All six of these fine ladies are featured in their individual kitchens at Lula & Flora’s Kitchen Rental.
We inspire personal growth, experiential learning, and professional education. Our mission is to not just provide commercial kitchen rentals to our tenants, but to inspire human connections and encourage personal growth, hands-on learning, and professional development opportunities.
And because we have established contacts with many third-party companies, we can put tenants in touch with business consultants, business law practices, accounting firms, business development entities, advertising, marketing, public relations firms, and much more.
You’d be surprised who rents space at Lula and Flora’s.
We rent to caterers, chefs and party planners looking for a conveniently located, high-capacity kitchen. We rent to small food businesses looking to grow but can’t afford to build or lease a commercial kitchen on their own. We rent to food entrepreneurs who need an “incubator” to cook, bake, or experiment with new recipes. We rent to food photographers looking to turn our commercial kitchen pod into a professional studio. We even rent to culinary teachers looking for a space to prepare for their classes and lectures.
